Human mesenchymal stem cells medium + supplement

Human mesenchymal stem cells medium is a serum-free, xeno-free MSC basal medium. Mesenchymal stem cell supplemnent is included. It can be used to support the growth of mesenchymal stem cells derived from adipose tissue, umbilical cord, and bone marrow. The cell morphology and expression of mesenchymal stem cell surface markers are normal, and the expansion fold and stability are generally good. At the same time, it maintains their self-renewal and multi-lineage differentiation potential. Compared with serum-containing medium and other serum-free media, this medium shows better proliferation and self-renewal potential.

This product is serum-free, with clear chemical composition, small batch variation, and does not contain animal-derived components, which can reduce contamination by various viruses, mycoplasma, endotoxins, etc. It contains various growth factors, which can not only effectively promote the proliferation of primary cells obtained by enzymatic digestion and tissue adherence methods, but also maintain cell pluripotency (i.e., having adipogenic, osteogenic, and chondrogenic differentiation capabilities) after several passages with good stability.

This product is strictly produced according to GMP standards. Cells cultured in serum-containing medium do not need an adaptation period when transitioning to serum-free Human mesenchymal stem cells medium.

[Note]: This product is specifically designed for the expansion culture of mesenchymal stem cells. Antibiotics can be added during cell culture to prevent bacterial contamination, but for cell therapy applications, adding antibiotics may carry the risk of sensitization.

The components promoting cell adhesion added to the culture medium allow cells to have good proliferation performance and undifferentiated state even without coating the culture plate with a coating agent.

① Preparation of Human Mesenchymal Stem Cell Culture Medium

Mixing basal medium with additives: Take the mesenchymal stem cell supplement out to thaw at room temperature or 4℃. Once thawed, it cannot be frozen again. Add the mesenchymal stem cell supplement to the MSC basal medium at a ratio of 5%-6%. Store at 4℃ and use within one month.

② Cell Seeding

Recommended cell seeding density is 5000 cells/cm². If it is freshly thawed cells or the first time using this medium for culture, it is recommended to seed at a density of 10000 cells/cm².

③ Cell Passaging

Change fresh medium every two to three days. According to cell density, when cell confluence reaches about 80%, discard the culture medium, wash with an appropriate amount of PBS and discard, and add an appropriate amount of commercial trypsin for digestion (cells that are too dense may exhibit contact inhibition, which will affect cell activity, and MSC cells are prone to differentiation after contact inhibition, so it is recommended that confluence does not exceed 90%).

④ Cell Collection and Cryopreservation

Digest with trypsin, centrifuge to collect cells, add cryopreservation solution at a certain density and cryopreserve.

Storage Conditions:
