DMEM No Glucose

Dulbecco's Modified Eagle Medium - DMEM (Dulbecco's Modified Eagle Medium) was developed based on MEM medium. Compared with MEM medium, the content of amino acids has increased by 2 times and the content of vitamins has increased by 4 times. At the same time, non-essential amino acids, trace amounts of iron ions and sodium pyruvate were also added.

The DMEM medium was originally designed with a glucose content of 1000 mg/L (low-sugar type), and later developed with a glucose content of 4500 mg/L (high-sugar type).
